Phones
Your Android or Apple phone is constantly spying on you (even when it’s ‘switched off’ because it actually isn’t; remember when phones had removable batteries well they are no longer around because they allowed you to switch off the phone for real. It monitors your activities, records what it hears/what you write and steals your data, and tracks your location and movement 24/7 (even when you switch relevant settings off). Without your knowledge it sends all that data to Google, Apple, and app providers. From there it will be sold (sometimes many times) plus used to profile you plus make you vulnerable if an ‘authority’ takes your phone to examine.
I provide a service to install and configure GrapheneOS on an appropriate new phone which creates a new privacy and security focused phone that removes the above mentioned issues.
I also install some alternative privacy/security focused apps for you (maps, email, podcasts, weather etc.), I create ‘web app’ options as an alternative to some or all of your invasive apps, plus install the other necessary apps you still want to use in the most secure way. I provide a written guide about using the phone, with links to other potentially helpful information.
For my service I ask for a donation of typically $250 for PMA members (up to 300 if there are LOTS of apps) or the equivalent in silver. I also find sources for your new phone at a significant discount for you and in many cases the discount will cover my service donation.
Computers
Your Windows or Apple computer also spys on you constantly. It also tries to take over how you do things such as storing all your data in it’s own corporate cloud (OneDrive or iCloud). The way to remove it’s over reach is to remove Windows or IOS (Apple) and replace those systems with Linux.
I offer a service to do that and once done also set things up for you such as a privacy Browser, install some alternative privacy/security focused apps for you that can replace the ‘mainstream’ intrusive apps, and install the apps you currently use and want to continue with. If you’ve been a Windows user I can even add some familiar icons such as the Trash Can, Start Menu etc. If you need me to transfer files from your old PC to this one so it’s a totally seamless experience to change your computer I can do that too.
I can do this on your existing computer or if you have a very old one and are in the mood for a newer one I can usually source one at a significant discount for you and this service is included for free. I sometimes source for clients an almost as new condition refurbished few years old laptop for just 400 to 500. In many cases the discount will cover my service donation.
